I år erbjuder vi två förstklassiga teer som du finner här nedan. Som tidigare väljer vi att vänta lite längre för att få te från de plantage som ligger på lite högre höjd. Det brukar löna sig.

Förr, säg i början av 1900-talet, ansågs andra skörden som finast. Den har en kraftigare och mer aromatisk smak.

Numera är det första skörden som betingar de högsta priserna. Blommigheten som du hittar i \"first flush\" är unik. Efter ett år är det inte längre samma sak.

Och nyckelpigan då? Jo, den får symbolisera ekologin. Redan på 60-talet började man leta efter hållbara sätt att odla. Mindre plantage försökte göra något åt jorderosionen, och naturliga sätt att sköta teplantorna. Så vill man försäkra sig om att Darjeeling finns kvar även i framtiden.
